«I’ve been farming since 2021 and I wanted to develop a new sector on my farm. Hemp seemed like a very good opportunity because of its advantages: it is the main crop in a rotation without the use of plant protection products, it has a root system that is beneficial for the wheat that follows, it stores carbon and it has a smothering effect that limits weeds. Recycling rusty straw can make the textile market more virtuous.»
